Oh my! Oh my! Oh . . . my! Was not expecting that. Like the twist. Wonder if The Immortal did the mind clean-out, or if something else happened.

And can I say that you have the Buffy-speak down perfectly. I can hear her voice in my head. Her little whine was very clear when she was going off about Ilona. "And you should see her. All with the tight skirt and the… I’m not convinced they’re real, you know. Silicone" You should take Joss's job and make Buffy season 8. One with Spuffy. :)

Can I just say that the thought of Buffy not training gives me a bad feeling. I just know it is going to lead to trouble. It would be so cool if Dawn saved the day instead of Buffy durring some event. That could lead to some funny Dawn/Buffy conversation afterward. Just a suggestion.

Author's Response: Then you're probably a good deal younger than me (and Spike!). La Dolce Vita was one of those iconic movies that arty types watched back in my youth. It was terribly hard going!
