I was skeptical at first after reading the summary, but boy did you prove me wrong. This is a good story. I love how you've interwoven the new and the old characters together.

I would love to read more about Spike being a single dad.

I look forward to reading more.

Tashi saw that Buffy and Spike are happy? This doesn’t seem to be something they are ready to acknowledge to themselves. And maybe it was the attack of the vampires Tashi did foresee (slayer’s dream) or things will happen later. Good timing for Xander being there... there were a lot of vamps. Good that they survived (not the vamps *g*). Loved Buffy taking care of Spike.

I think the relationship between them is totally realistic

i feel like this version of buffy is being truer to herself by not censoring every little feeling that she has - she is more open this time around which i love
