I had a feeling breaking the spell would have something to do with them falling in love with each other. They obviously hit the "jackpot", and now the spell is gone, leaving Buffy with only her memories of the last few days. I am really interested to see where you're taking this next.

Oh it took you so long to update i thought this story is gone but this chapter is truly worth all the wait! Buffy has awaken from the spell and it seems she's back to denying herself all the wonderful things she felt with Spike. OMG! I thought for a while there that the love she felt for Spike would overcome everything once she gets out of the spell. I could feel my heart break when she didnt. And i couldnt imagine how Spike would feel once she discovers Buffy is gone and back to her old self. He would truly cry a river. I would too for losing all that they have while under the spell.

And the dark comedy that this becomes when Riley gets involved--with all his tin soldiers. Priceless. And Spike nearly having a deep discovery before a bit of "mindless pleasure" got in the way is also a great moment. And a spell without an ending, that is a good bit of fun, too. A wonderful chapter. At the moment Buffy has a holiday, carefree for the first time being a slayer. So Spike thinks it is Buffy the girl that keeps her from being happy? I hope it will last for some time so Buffy will remember it.
