Don't feel all that sorry for Riley, really.......If it had been against a human, I'd say he should get a trial and end up in jail, but that isn't the case, here, so *someone* has to administer punishment.

hey - just started reading your fic. I think it's dark, angsty and at times terrifying. in one sentence: I LOVE IT!!!!
Riley chilles me to the bones(that man is sick) and I love that Spike has people he can trust who support him.
Do think you should put up what the story is about on the main page that way you might get more readers - I almost skipped it bacause I couldn't see what it was about

Well the end part certainly made me laugh! Better to be a coward than a victim! I totally agree! But before i read that i was totally nervous that Spike is going back to his crypt again just when Riley is going there, too!

What Riley started with Spike is continuing. It started (well not really small with Spike but he didn't kill him) but Riley starting to like the feeling? It scares me what he'll do net. He lost his scruples. *shudders* He enjoyed what he did to Dawn.

uhmm... now you are making me partial to harmony too? not sure i like that! lol
jk, you know. this is quite an interesting thought. while spike and buffy's tentative friendship blossoms, harmony keeps riley prisoner in a cave, and tortures him till his last drop of blood... ;P
just one thing... i'm not sure giles would have told joyce the truth. he owed it to buffy, cuz the big shit was her boyfriend and she needed to know for her own sake. but spike needs a little privacy on that 'detail', and buffy's explanation to her mother should have been enough.
clearly, this is just a personal opinion and since i dunno where are u going with your fic, maybe you did just what fit better in your story...
PS i just added this to my fave, cuz i relly love it! :D
