Spike didn't speak to Giles for a very long time. Sounds like a deep secret. I hope he is comfortable enough to tell Buffy later (after some time). But he asked Buffy a very personal question. She did answer him....
Oh I see he apologized. ~ Giles was Buffy's surrogate dad for quite some time. No wonder he was so dear to her. At last Buffy isn't closing his feelings in her heart this time. Hard for her to be an orphan, it always is no matter how old you are.

Really enjoyed reading this chapter and the interaction between Spike and Buffy. The weather really fits the mood for greiving and Buffy is allowing herself to feel the loss of her father. Thanks for the update.
