I hate to sound harsh but what does Spike expect of Buffy....to wait until he has come to terms with a memory that only gets more martyred with time. The swift kick to his ego and behind will serve to make him come to terms with his survivors guilt and not being enough for Drusilla. Time may heal all wounds but time is something that Spike is wasting mourning a memory. Hope that he will put Drusilla to rest and move on to the living.

Doyle seem to be very observant. Maybe that comes from his job; he noticed Buffy 's state of mind (feelings). Maybe Buffy leaving with him will make him jealous enough to think if he is ready to let her go or if he is ready to take a risk.
Well at last Spike doesn't like to see Buffy with Doyle; that's a start ;-)

Damn, I hate when I miss updates. Glad they're becoming close. So Dru's dead? That surprises me, most of the time she just leaves so it's a little easier to deal with but If she died while still loving him, well that's a totally different set of emotions for him. Now to catch up again. Thanks for sharing, it's a great story.

Yeah, it makes no sense to give advices and not to follow them. But at last he told a tiny bit of himself. Even to know he was married and seeing her chances of being with Spike are getting smaller hurts. Good for (against) cliffhangers that the next chapter is up already :)
