I so love this story. I just finished chapter 8, and somehow I managed to not realize before that Spike's chip isn't working. You probably already filled us in on this in the beginning. My babies are too old for teething, but we did get a new puppy and I'm up every three hours to let him out. I think my brain has gone to mush. Great chapter. Possibly one of the best airplane scenes I've ever read. The slight change in Spike and Buffy'r relationship was extremely engaging and promising. I can't wait for more. Kari

Great reading as usual! Please don't make us wait too long! I think you're a tease by telling us you have so many chapters written, but that you're posting them slowly! I'm like Spike in that regard---no patience.

This story is really well written and you're doing a good job with all of the characters, especially Spike and Buffy. I love that Spike has made demands that won't be met , I can't wait to read his reaction. Things are heating up nicely between Spike and Buffy, too.

This looks like it's turning out to be a very cool re-write of the Dawn/Key/Glory plot of S5. Definitely have my attention so far. Good characteriztions, esp Buffy and Spike. I definitely thought you had their voices in this chapter. More soon!
