Meanie...leaving us wondering what the meeting is about as well. ;P lol Great chapter. The exchange between Buffy and Giles on the phone was so dead on. I could totally hear that conversation between them in my head. Loved that you pulled out Willow's 'resolve face.' I always thought that needed to happen more often - that Buffy's friends force her to talk about what was going on inside that head of hers. A lovely moment in their friendship. I know S/B peeps aren't usually big Riley fans, but my only suggestion is to not let Riley get too cartoonish or become a charicature because it takes away from an otherwise three dimensional story. That's just my opinion, though. There is probably a method to your madness. :) Can't wait for more!!

I really enjoyed this first chappie. I liked Buffy having to deal with the kids. Liked her inner thoughts during the party.

Great premises! I love stories in which Buffy begins to notice Spike although she still hates him, great fun to read. More please.
