For now Willow figured something out *g* Seems Buffy figured it out already what she wants :) With both of them making compromises they should be able to make it. I wonder what the Council will decide about the Initiative.

Great chapter! I’ve always loved the relationship between Joyce and Spike, even when he was evil. I can’t wait to see Buffy’s attempt to confront Spike.

Seems that Buffy thinks Spike is a one woman vamp: hers :)
The people from the Initiative clearly underestimated them; their ability to work together too. Near way to get the chip out :-D Especially with Halfrek; she enjoyed the sight of him very much.

So Spike wasn't really gone, huh? Just at the mercy of the Initiative, with a chip and as a test-object. At last Buffy isn't pleased to see how he was handled, she isn't following the Initiative like Riley does.
Oh so Riley had special fun to torture Spike because he knew that Spike knew Buffy (even if Spike couldn't fight back)? How nice, to take advantage of the fact he couldn't fight back... Tables have turn indeed, Buffy isn't pleased about that.

Author's Response: Nah, we knew he wasn't really gone, didn't we? To say Buffy isn't pleased would be a bit of an understatement - retribution to follow. :)

I'm not horrified about Biley; I just don't like to read it. ~ The Initiative has indeed to learn a lot about Slayers. They (at last Riley) think so high about their organisation, how many vamps they killed.
The Biley? Yeah, Buffy is still in denial, clinging to want normal even if it wasn't enough for her. No reason (right) for her to complain that Spike as it seems went away; she wished for it.

Spike could Buffy distract easily she forgot about Riley. She can be thankful that Riley didn't show sooner than he did. Funny way to discover Buffy's evening job :)

But Spike has still the ability to distract Buffy even when he isn't there ;-)
But she didn't like him helping.. does she thinks he gets to close to her family? She should know Spike wouldn't hurt Joyce.
