I think I was more disappointed than Buffy. Great Buildup by the way. Too bad Anne had to ruin the moement, but I'm sure there will be more and hopefully soon! Have to say though, Spike seems a bit dense in missing the not too subtle hints Buffy dropped in this chap! Loving things British???? Please, Anne knew what she was hinting at. Spike better stop thinking with his manly bits and pay attention, he's missing some pretty amazing declarations. Can't wait til they get to complete a few steamy moments. More please. I'm enjoying it very much!

But I do have plans for that first kiss and I just couldn't bear to change them. *lol* He's a tad dense, but then again, he might be all sophisticated and charming, but has been a recluse for a great part of his life (unlfe?) Congratulations on over 180 reviews for 7 chapters; seems you have got a winner of a story! I have read some the great reviews and looks like everyone is in tune with you. I am really enjoying it, just got to catch up on it today. I think she would still be head over heels for him if he only had a small cabin with only his artwork to show. Their love for each other is really shining through. Thank you for the Giles, too; they really love him and now her.

I'm liking Anne more and more with each new appearance, it was very clever of her to get Buffy another invite to Spike's house. ;-) Loved the sweet Spuffy interaction. Good update!

Awe, loved the description of Buffy visiting Spike. He's indeed smitten with her. Loved Anne checking Buffy out what her intentions are regarding Spike. Though her timing is bad ;-) (interrupting the almost kiss).

Are you a mad woman? How could you ever think that this was bad or that there would be any possibility of dislike. It was fantastic and during the part leading up to the kiss (that never happened) I was holding my breath. The battle within Spike as to whether he should or shouldn't progress this is interesting. Spike in the series wanted her to "turn to the dark side" (as it were) but here he is trying not to. Having said that, we know he's lost. I love it and can't wait to read more of this fab story. Thank you for updating.

Naughty Anne for her 'kissus interutpus' Spike has got to remedy this by the end of the visit. You defintely portrayed the depth of Buffy's feelings for him. Then at the same time the anguish of his own for her!
