Bravo sweety - the flirting is beautiful and it seems Spike can no longer help himself - all with the verbal foreplay. *sings*... LOVED IT!

Oh, I hadn't thought of that. To be an artist who could never see his subjects in the light of day. The way light interacts with objects is so much a part of painting, to never see them in sunlight is so sad. Poor Spike.

Not disappointing at all! Still wonderful. I love that she picked out his favorite painting amongst all of them and that he wants her to have it. Continuing on to the next chapter now, I can't wait to see what happens to (presumably) change his mind about seeing her again. I wonder if he'll try to paint her from memory?
