I am kind of disappointed that you went the way most authors seem to go. With Buffy not telling Spike she is pregnant right away. If she leaves him and tells him after the competition. I have a feeling that Spike will be pissed. I would be if I was a man and my girl didn't tell me she was pregnant. That is just not cool.
I love the story. I was so happy to see a new chapter. Can not wait for more, Keep up the good work.
Author's Response: I know that many of you did not like this new development, but like I said in another review it was one of the first scenes I came up with and I kinda didn't want to leave it there. it's nice that she just decides to make that decision for him, i hate when people do that, she doesn't even know how he would feel, just leaving without saying anything isn't going to make things better. i hope you don't make it like a year later or something like that, i want her to just tell him. he deserves to know, it was a little odd though that he seemed so happy about being away from her for that long. i just hope the angst wouldn't be much, i have a hard time reading that.
Author's Response: Hmm I thought about adding much more thoughts from Spike's perspective but it would have gotten too long. Author's Response: When I started writing this story this was the third scene I had playing in my head, and I was certain I was going to stick with it until this point actually :) I was a little uncertain about for a while but then I thought, what the heck. I'm so glad Spike turned out to be the baby's father, for awhile there I wasn't sure if Spike and Buffy had been intimate long enough for it to be possible.. thank goodness it was though.
I enjoyed getting the glimpses into Spike and Buffy's heads, it's interesting that they're both in denial about being in love. They might have agreed to take things one day at a time but they're so much more than friends with benefits, I hope they allow themselves to see the truth. I can't wait to find out who shares their news first. Great chapter!

Uh-huh, Buffy doesn't want Spike to know that she's pregnant? Because it isn't his or because she has doubts if she'll stay / keep the baby *wonders*?. So it is Spike's and she'll keep it.
So that's why she was so worried because she doesn't know how Spike will react and she loves him :)
Spike loves her too but what about this offer? (I don't know how long it will have Spike employed, only for some month?). And where he would have to live. I wonder if Buffy will tell him of the baby after all when she hears that.

This is one of my favorite Spuffy stories. I just hope that you don't go the way every author seems to go. Spike tells buffy about the competition and buffy decides not to tell spike about her being pregnant. I really hope that she does tell him at dinner. It is your story and you should write the way you want it. But for once i was like to see something different and have buffy tell spike about her being pregnant right away.
