Wow. Two months. Kind of selfish of Spike to wallow like that. Poor Lily, I mean. He did agree to take care of her. Good to know he was looking for Buffy though. Does this mean he turned down the contract? Or messed it up by not showing?

Author's Response: Yeah, I hope you don't think he's been too bad for Lily. It was going to take him longer to find out about Buffy but then I realized it would all be absolutely too weird so I changed it. The contest hasn't started yet, so if he signed the contract remains to be seen ;)

Glad they're finally together. I hope they find a solution to the distance problem. Sweet chapter. :)

(As an aside, you have a typo that happens somewhat frequently - "barely" comes out as "barley". Wouldn't get caught in a spell check because it's a word. I have words I constantly mistype and it's really annoying when the typo is a word too!)

All kinds of badness in this chapter! The nerve of Angel bringing Buffy's father with him to help convince her to marry him. What's his angle? I keep wondering if I missed something (my brain is mush :) ) and Buffy's father has a lot of money or something Angel wants. Hard to believe it's just love of Buffy that's making him so persistent. Hope Connor's ok.
