Oh :) Saw it in LJ and thought you saw this finished before. It's almost like a sequel, being in the 'next season' now.
Looking forward to more; enjoyed this one. Dawn seems to get herself deep in trouble.

awwwwwww thats sweet. it was like an actual ep for me , when i read i can picture the storys but with this it seemed like a real episode that i didnt really have to think about that much about to imagine it was awsome =) sorry if i confused you with that lol.

Sad ending. I hate the stories that are unkind to Joyce, [ortraing her as neglectful and drunk. I see her more as you have written here. Thanks for the story.

Author's Response: Yes, sad, I know, but as it was written for a challenge on Spuffy Haven, I had to stay within the rules. But i think it works.

This was nice subtle Spuffy. No overt love/sex scenes, just Spike pretending to be evil (badly) but being there for Joyce, Buffy and Dawn when he was needed. Spike thinking maybe he'd hit her to distract her when all else was failing was funny and in character. Then thinking a fight where Riley got to beat him up might do the trick. He really would do anything to fulfill his promise to Joyce and take Buffy's mind off things for awhile. The kiss at the end reminded me of the end of Intervention, which is one of my favorite scenes. I liked it very much.

Oh, Spike can speak Lynfra! That's a start. ~ But Riley had to interfere without checking first what's the matter. Spike did what he had to do and this was more than one would expect him to do. Even Buffy started to see Spike with other eyes (and saw some flaws when she looked at Riley).
I'd wished that there had been more (a sequel?) but I enjoyed reading this story.

I loved this story - the connections between Spike and Buffy were perfect, and the storyline with Dawn and the demon were spot on - very nicely done.

Author's Response: One or two people have asked for a sequel. I’ll put it on the list! Must finish some wips first. Poor old Future Imperfecf which I love writing hasn’t been touched for over a month! Bad Lilachigh!

Too late for Dawn now to have second thoughts.. now she must go through with bringing Eriddny home.
Riley is a bit illusory about what Buffy would say to him. She doesn't exactly need his help.
Heh heh and would Riley have been nicer to Willie he would still have his radio and his gun ;-)
Seems as if Eriddny's mother noticed something... till next part! Eager to find out.
