What a horrible way to force someone to stay with you. I hope Buffy will be able to digest all this and not react too badly. Glad Giles turned around at the airport and decided to try to get through to Spike again.

Ohhh, that was a mess, with Spike lashing out at Buffy and Giles trying so hard. Wish Spike would sit down and talk to him, though if Giles really did abandon Spike and his mother because he wasn't able to deal with her illness that's pretty bad.

I wonder what secrets Buffy has. Nice that she was good about understanding Spike's need to keep some things private. Makes up a little for inviting Giles to dinner. Maybe something good can come out of it after all though. Hoping so.

Ugh, as usual Dru's left Spike with a ton of issues. I suppose the dream means he's worried he'll drag Buffy down with him somehow. I wonder what really happened the night of the accident. I'm sure we'll find out. At least this time Spike has someone to talk to about his nightmare.

Uh oh, Buffy and alcohol - not mixy. Bet Spike shows up after she's had a few glasses. Kind of unfair of Spike to put all the blame on Buffy when he didn't tell her about his feelings either. But kind of ...dunno...nervy and a little bit tactless maybe of Buffy to give him a letter like that after the woman who she thinks he's loved the past two years has just died. Can't imagine he'd be in a place to consider a "new" relationship so soon. Lucky that Spike wasn't madly in love with Dru. Enjoying the story, going to the next chapter now :)

Oh dear, I was afraid of that. I can't imagine a good scenario for being called at 3am where it wasn't an emergency! Especially since she hasn't spoken to him in so long. But, yay, all hope isn't lost because Spike loved her secretly too. Wonder how they'll talk again after this debacle. Enjoying the story :)
