let me say this story has me and I want more Its very well written and emotionally charged , always makes for a good fic ( if the next chapters ready, lets have girl, LOL ) I know it's Buffy at the door , and good on her. I hope they talk , although he;s got alot of baggage from the warped relationship with Dru (glad she's dead, Yaaay!) Buffy can help him through this if he would stop being bitter and angry at her , I hope she admits to him why she stayed away, then we can have some Spuffy , but I think this fic is going the angsty way.

That was some nightmare. It got him to feel sorry for anything he has ever done with Dru and to her by the looks of it.

Sad. Sounds like a sick relationship. And now he feels guilty for wanting it to end and how it ended. His fault. Poor William. And now the reason for it is at his door. Buffy doesn't know what she is in for.

So Spike was in love with Buffy too, well if they would have talked about their feeling none of this would have happened.

So he is happy in a way that Buffy called, I hope he talks to her lets her know everything he is feeling, even the relieved that Dru is dead.

Oh that didn't go well; first Spike was annoyed that Buffy called so late and then when Buffy told him the reason she called he hung up *sigh*
I feel bad for them both; because (what Buffy doesn't know) Spike really loved her back then. How much they have hurt the other because they kept quiet.
There should be hope for them to get together because they are in love. But that hasn't helped so far, huh? So it's hard to tell what will happen / has to happen to bring them together. Spike stayed in a relationship he didn't really care for, trying to get it to work but he is only relieved that Dru is dead. I wonder what she did to him that caused this / if this is related to the "dark side" of her. Because really? If he didn't love her he should have left her go, finding her happiness with somebody else. What if.... that's the hardest. Doesn't makes sense to rack one's brain about it if you can't change things anyway. Makes only your head hurt.

wow. i never expected that one. all the time buffy was in love with spike, spike was in love with buffy and was only with dru because he wanted to get over her. you have got to post soon. this is so good. great job.
