So Spike became human and Buffy the vampire. But she can bear sunlight? If not that would suck for her.
Hopefully she won't kill Spike like a new risen vampire that doesn't know when to stop. Giles thought Spike would dust; good to see him un-dusty.

Author's Response: Yeah I've been debating over whether or not it would be better to switch the tenses. I was going for trying to make the scene appear more direct but I think you are right, it does rather distract from the story. I've changed it for this chapter and will probably go back and change the others as well. I'm glad that you liked the rest of it though :)

The others took the news rather well (Buffy = demon). But Giles was very eager to have Spike be the demon in charge. Buffy didn't think that would cost the demon its life. But Spike offered. Maybe because he didn't save her the first time? *on to the next chapter*

Hey--good chappie. Didn't see the kissin' & probable mega-sex tho.
And I'm gonna go out on a short limb here & wonder if there WILL be certain "results" from this sex-fest/union??? Will they Claim/Mate w/each other?
AND I find it interesting ( AND complimentary in a purely fashion-y sense for Buffy, of course! The pendant IS an emerald, DOES kinda match her eyes, & IS technically imported & antique...) that there is a green glow/energy involved...Any more green-Key-ish energy involved? I guess, I mean to say, that IS what Dawn is made up of, at least before Buffy's & ?'s blood/dna was used... would this be any of the same type of energy those old original watchers were putting into play? Hmmm, just my too late nite ponderings on the subjects & where U R going w/this...

Reading & posting frommy cell's browser...
Am actually enjoying your fic...DO please continue it. I think the fic's title initially threw me off, so I didn't pick up & read it when I saw it listed under new fics...This seems to be a very slow night for new & updated fics to be posted...So, I'm sorry to say, that I decided to pick up & read the 2 chappies, (yes-- hanging head apologetically!--yes, I was bored, w/nada much else new 2 read tonight) to see if I liked it...
And I do, so far... read the reviews others left so far, & that Cordykitten's a pretty smart one-- you won't slip much by her, plotwise... plus she is a diligent reviewer! I was also thinking along the same lines for where U might be going w/this plot.
Pls forgive any typos/wordwrap probs/grammar boo-boos & word shortcuts/-hand... like I said, am doing this typing on the number/ltr keypad on my cell phone... just part of my ongoing war re: my laptop & Hell...err-- I mean Dell 'puters...grrr...

Interesting twist. But I wonder what will happen to the demon that 'donates' his demon.
Like when Spike does it ~ will the demon be shared, come back to him and what will happen meanwhile (him being human)?
