I think Buffy understands Nada in a state of inebriation. So no Spike.. she doesn't

Cute.. I love a little laugh every now and then. Love the banter.

Get tired sometimes of Spike being dragged through the dirt becoming the whipping boy.. wondering if he will ever obtain again some semblance of worth..

Yay! Kissage... A drunk Buffy is definitely an entertaining Buffy, loved her interactions with Spike in this chapter. :D I also enjoyed Spike's musings about the Scoobies, reading his thoughts is always insightful and fun. And Spike's parting quote was perfect, I hope Buffy remembers it when she wakes up. Wonderful update!

The toasting was fun, some of the things the Scoobies came up with were hysterical... lol! Too bad Buffy had to ruin it though, but on the plus side her actions did lead to some nice Willow/Spike interaction. :D Loved the chapter! Can't wait to read more!

Author's Response: I thought the one Anya did was rather amusing...about the pitchfork one. Buffy's just a bit flustered with everything happening around her. Her friend's are cozying up to a vamp and she feeling left out... what's a girl to do? LOL

Spike and Buffy's little exchange about Pluto was so funny... lol! Loved the closing scene, it was great to see Spike fitting in. :D Wonderful update!

Author's Response: I always thought Spike had a soft spot for Willow. Never wanted to hurt her, more like he wanted her friendship. And Spike will fit in more and more, much to Buffy's dismay!

Wow! Buffy's new problem should definitely make things even more interesting in good ol' Sunnydale... loved this new twist. The picnic was fun too, I really enjoyed how things went south for Riley. :D
I checked out the video, Buffy was right it was a sad song and I could totally imagine Spike singing it. Great chapter!

Author's Response: I don't think the Buffy from the series would have done that with Willow though. I think she would have told her to suck it up and move on (which, in my opinion, she did on the show...bitch). This Buffy will learn there are other things besides herself.

Author's Response: Thanks! Without Willow's original spell, something will still happen. You could see something akin to a relationship would happen with these two from the beginning...even without the spell.

Author's Response: Wow, you went back and left a review for every chapter! You are definitely getting lots of toys from Santa this year... maybe even Spike will show up in your stocking! Thanks about the portrayal. I think he's the most perceptive and knowledgable of all the gang. I mean, look...he's had all this time as a vamp, he knows tons about demonology, and though he doesn't like to admit it, he has everybody's wellfair at heart.

Almost missed this update. Nice to see them having a good time, even if Buffy screwed it up. Really enjoyed how Willow covered for him. Great way to bring that dialogue in. Happy to know that Buffy still not interested in Riley. Thanks for the update, this is so much fun.
