See, I noticed the sequel :)
It's more a song fic, Spike is so jealous like the singer in the song. And all in vain (his jealousy) *gg*
I think you didn't close the tags for the last paragraph, it sounds to me that “Honey?” ~ Spike shot up and looked around etc. isn't a dream any longer. Maybe then it's clearer.

I don't get it. Was the whole thing a jealous mans nightmare? Or did Buffy cheat on Spike in the end and then pretend it was all good? I didn't understand the distinction between the dream and the reality.
