AWWW THAT WAS SO SWEET!! i LOVE this story and am so happy that u updated. i think its so cute that willow can see how much spike loves buffy and i hope that this allows them to get closer and for them to admit their true feelings to one another. also i hope that everything works out well and that angelus goes to hell soon. They're talking again which is a good thing although they obviously still have a lot to discuss. Spike taking care of Buffy was lovely and his statement "He tried to take what I need most....." was quite telling. Another fab chapter.

Okay, do not ask me how I missed this update - I never got a notice in my email damnit. I'm glad I decided to cruise the recently added which isn't something I normally do - and of course after seeing this asked, huh, is there something wrong with my email - dove in to find out I missed 2 chapters. Anyhow, as for THIS chapter, I sound like a broken blody record, but this was brilliant. Spike was so cold, so evil, so perfect and twice and Angelus like in his revenge, that it was a a PERFECT read. I got sooooooooo much satisfaction out of it, it should be illegal. And now, off to read the next chapter - smoochies to you on a realy great job.
Author's Response: Ah, the email troubles... Good thing you looked on the updates page, LOL. I'm so glad you liked the chapter. Sometimes it's good to be bad...or for Spike to be bad. I don't think anyone saw Darla's death coming, but it was so much more fun than having Spike beat Angelus up or something. I like a Spike that's dangerous (to the right people), even if he's in love with Buffy, and isn't going to shirk back from something he wants to do. Thanks for reviewing!

Great chapter, as always. The fact that Buffy gets thrown from indecision to compassion and to loathing of the vampire at her side is really interestin to watch.

Wow. Just simple words strung together, but such a pwerful arrangement. Love the intimacy you have drawn between in this chapter, both at Giles & again in her bedroom. Nothing sexual. Nothing romantic. Still very intimate. Great job.
