excellent chapter.love the way spike is handling fatherhood.....can tell he will be a great father.....hope that drusilla isnt coming into town ....dont want her to hurt the baby....hope this story is nice and long

omg that was a wonderful chapter...it even made me cry with joy...what a beautiful name for the baby..just wondering if buffy really goes through with this idea of not being the slayer anymore will she stick with it even when she may get into a situation like with vampires or something and she is the only one around...well cant wait to find out more and please if you can let this story be long and not short.....this is sooo good

I hate to say this but I have real issues with this chapter... if you are going to describe in some detail something you've never been through the least you can do is do some research about it... like the fact that a second month ultrasound is done transvaginally, has very little diagnostics value, you can't see limbs in it (this would be an embryonic, not a fetal, ultrasound, the baby would be only a few milimiters long) and hearbeat is not detectable just yet. On the other hand I did love chapter one, my fear here is that this seems to be about to go the PWP route and you seem to have forgotten all charactes but Buffy and Spike here.

Great start to the story. I especially like that the child is Spike's. I had to smile at his reaction to Buffy's 'news'--it was so different than one would have expected. And, anyway, how can anyone *not* like a story that has Spike and chocolate icing?
