Great update. I am surprised that the separation didn't last longer. Wonderin' if we'll see other angsty/horrific situations. Like will other vamps we love to hate make an appearance and threaten Buffy? Hmmmm...Lookin' forward to next time!

I was worried there for a while, that she was really going to let Spike go. I'm so happy she changed her mind and dragged him back to her house for Spuffy loving goodness. How could she resist, after all?

Now that the initial crisis is past, I can't wait to see what else you've got in store with this story.

Yay! I'm the first to review, that's never happened! I get to be the first person to tell you how much this chapter supremely rocked! Every scene between them was perfect, and those last lines they exchanged were so amazingly romantic. Oh I so can't wait to see what happens next. I have a feeling (or maybe a wish) that Riley's gonna come home and see them in bed together and get his ass handed to him by Spike. But for now, I'm loving this speedy update and yummy Spuffiness! Looking forward to more!

What an amazing chapter!!! This one felt fluffier than the others with all the happy/funny diaolge! I love your version of Spikes speech--the whedon drowning version never did anything for me. The last paragraph blew me away, I have read spuffy forever and have never seen their interaction spoken outloud so perfectly~thank you for the great update, and will watch for more!!

I loved this chapter! I'm glad Spike came after Buffy as soon as the sun set. But I get the feeling that she really hasn't confronted the whole 'vampires kill' issue yet.

She ran! Why?! (ignore the obvious reasons). Poor Spike, he must feel so lonely, and sad...

Well how 'bout that.
Spike's scared he'll hurt her...won't be able to control himself. I suspect a mating in the future (if things go swimmingly, that is). Spike better not find someone else to distract him from Buffy. Grrrr.

WOW.... just wow! I can understand Buffy running - after all, she's not one to believe in vampires and when finally being faced with one, I suppose it's a natural reaction. And poor Spike. He really is falling for her and is really afraid he might hurt her, so I can understand his confession. Question is - who will go to who? Will Buffy go to see him first or will it be Spike that seeks her out again? Can't wait to see what solution you'll come up with so they can be together. RIveting chapter and excellent cliffie. Can't wait for the next chapter sweety. SMooches.
