No room for sheep myself, but I grew up with pigs and yes, they are the best way ever to get a piece of rough ground cleared - those noses beat any bit of machinery ever invented! Another good chapter - more! more! :)

And a lovely update it was too! A lovely hint of Buffy's relationship with her daughter....what does her name translate to or mean? I'm remembering something about old French (descendant from Norman), and "lys" was lily (flower, ie French, fleur de lys, and names, ie lysette)...does her name by any chance mean 'Northern Flower (or lily)'? Or is it a God-name or just a name?
Nice as well to see a good reception for William (and fun to see Giles barely keeping up with William's learned ways), But somehow, I have a feeling that they are gonna hurt in the morning!
Will Ingemund send for Buffy to come to his court? Will everyone be called to meet at the Thing? I am sure you will keep us on tenderhooks while you eke out the tale up til the meeting of Buffy and William (and Anne and Nordlys)...

It was lovely to see how Buffy and Nordlys are faring. Too funny that the baby's cries could turn a man mad or the milk sour. *giggles* And too sweet that she has William's eyes. I also loved the way William was greeted in the hall, what follows of the negotiations is going to be very interesting. Wonderful chapter!

Fab update honey, I mean really. Buffy at least seems happy with her child though you can tel she misses William. THe tension at the meeting was palpable but I think they'll go well now that they recognize William. Update soon hon - you know I'm dying to see Buffy and WIlliam together again. Hugs you tight.
