*pout* I always get so caught up in the story (engrossed) that the end of the chapter surprises me.

That's wonderful that William is trying to prove himself in what he sees as Buffy's eyes. But I have a feeling that she already saw him as something great. More likely he is proving this to himself. Great update Vara! And CONGRATS! on the noms, you sooooo deserve them!

Wow, great chapter honey. I can feel how much is riding on William's mind to make sure this trip is a success. I have every confidence in him to do what's right and that last line just made me swoon.... So lovely to see an update! Hope you enjoyed your visitors.

William is such a likeable lad, isn't he? Making friends and admirers wherever he goes. Almost too likeable. He's needing a bit of an edge for my taste. At the very least I'd like to see him make a stumble or suffer a setback to illustrate his human frailty.

Please don't misunderstand ~ I fully accept your authorial choices and am greatly enjoying the story. I will continue to read and review as I am quite wrapped up in the tale you've wrought so far and am confident you have some twists and turns planned.

Author's Response: oh I haven't stopped twisting, but after being kidnapped, seeing a female relative gang raped, being held captive for the best part of a year and then loosing the love of his life I wanted him to have some good luck. there is a way to go yet, glad you are enjoying it so far

YAY, glad to see WIlliam heading Buffy's way and that he'll make a name for himself and have his own dwelling. Question is, once he finds out he's a father, will Buffy want to leave the only home/lifestyle she's ever known? THat's a toughie. I can't see William ever wanting to part from her once he sees her again AND the fact he's a father. Lovely chapter darling, can't wait for more, BRAVO!!!

Oh I really hope it won't come to that, William fighting against his friends (Buffy's family). *phew* not at the moment then.
Mmmh that sounds as if he is a step nearer to Buffy (when he gets an estate for himself).
Talking aloud / with someone helps to clear his thoughts. Anne was very helpful, not only with her weaving.
Sadly I'm at the end of the chapter now; looking forward to more.
