Gorgeous and very apt name for the little one. How exactly is that name pronounced? Two or three syllables? Lovely callback to their shared evening watching the Northern Lights.

Good handling on the situation when Connor overreacted and an even better advice from Buffy. Should spare them some pain in the years to come.

I'm just catching up on about the last five chapters. William leaving Buffy is so sad, but he wants to be her equal, not beneath her. I can't wait to see Buffy's and William's child, that is going to be great. I'm curious to see how they're going to be reunited (I'm guessing they will be since this is a Spuffy story) and how he will find out about his child. It's heartbreaking to see them both so sad and miserable without the other, but doing nothing about it. I'm curious about the new job that William might take as a soldier. And you did a superb job with this chapter. It was sweet what Connor did for Willow so she wouldn't be discraced in the eyes of everyone else. I agree with Connor though. How could William leave if that is what he felt? Awesome last few chapters, I can't wait to see what you're gonna do next.

I've just recently found this story and read it all this past weekend. I have such a soft spot for historical fics that place AU William/Spike & Buffy in other times and circumstances, yet still with the essence of their respective personalities.

You've done a marvelous job creating this world ~ it is so evocative and real in my mind. You clearly have a deep knowledge of this time and place and I thank you for sharing it with us.

I also appreciate that you seem to update frequently. I'm in no rush to get William and Buffy back together, despite the oncoming birth of their child ~ William has work to be done before that reunion can realistically take place and I'd rather read about that journey than shortcut to a point in the future where all is rosy and grand.

I look forward to the ride.

Good ol' Anya, she really sparkled in her scenes with Buffy and Tara. I especially loved how she lightened Buffy's sad mood, a good laugh is just what Buffy needed. :D Reading about the preparations, and the actual wedding was very interesting. Wonderful update!

So we are so far, the wedding is near already. Bittersweet to see Buffy so sad and yet not because of the baby.
Thoughtful (the sleeping arrangement); Buffy can use some comfort.

Great descriptions of the preparations for the wedding. As always your writing creates such lovely pictures in my head (and yes, I know you laugh at that but it's just the way I'm wired; I'm a painter not a writer and I see the world in pictures.)

Heard a rumour somewhere that a bloke called Hrolf officiates at Norse style weddings; would that be your Hrolf by any chance?

It was so nice to visit with Buffy, Willow, and Tara in this chapter. I'm glad Buffy had someone like Kelda looking after her at the beginning of her pregnancy, it's still so sad that William is missing out all all this. :( I also enjoyed the Willow/Tara talk, Connor definitely choose his wives well. :D Fantastic update!
