It was kind of harsh burning her dress. I guess slave labor is still going strong there, maybe the grandparents could have a session in the hospital to mellow them out to her. I think this is a great start for a story, would you fill us in on what her parents do and why they moved away from such a promising career. Thanks!

FYI - there is a story on the site called 'Strawberry Wine' by Lady Anne, based on the same song. Your's seems different and I'd continue with it... you just might want to be careful in case anyone thinks you're copying.
