I love it! In fact, I think bringing them "back" is much better than leaving them in the past. This way they get to keep everything they've already been through that brought them to this point but they both have the memory of that "stolen" time together too. Excited for the meeting!

I gotta say I think Spike purring is one of my favorite things about Spuffy fanfic. It was kinda sad to see Buffy come to the realization that maybe her Spike had never been happy enough to purr during their time together. And it's not too fast because this is exactly what grieving Buffy would need to do if given this chance but when do we get to have some insight into exactly what happened?
Author's Response: I totally agree with you about the Spike purring, totally hot.
About Buffy's realization I think that was important, especially to see the difference between our Buffy in this story and the one who was supposed to be there. I will come to what've happened eventually, but I've yet to decide about how clear I'll be - but it will come.
