I have to say that Drusilla is perfect as the cruel mother in this story, really crazy. To say poor Spike just isn't enough... Loved this chapter!

Author's Response: This is the first time I make Dru Spike's mother in a story but for some reason it just fits. :) Thank you!

Heart wrenching. How can a mother be so cruel to her child? Really hope Spike talks to Buffy about his past. It was a good chapter and I hope your writer's block sorts itself out soon.

Drusilla talked about her child My child was innocent. And now she is no more. Sounds like a female child, as if Spike has (had) a sister.
And Drusilla claims to love Spike? How can she (even now!) treat him like that? Sad that she didn't protect him from the start.
Uh-huh bad timing. Looking forward to what will happen next with Buffy at the door.

Great chapter, a heavy one but written very well! I hope he'll tell buffy the truth about his mother/ life... or is it too soon in the plot? Maybe some angst and drama with Dru first? Can't wait the read it!

This could be good or bad.. with Buffy's there. But knowing this Buffy.. she is pretty intuitive. She'll be able to figure that Drusilla is part of his problem.. especially with Spike's parting words. But who knows what Dru will say upon her exit..

Glad Spike is standing up to Mommy Dearest.. not a care for her son -only herself and trying to drag him down.. pitiful woman..

Oooohhhh! That was surprising - both Drusilla showing up and her killing Ethan (at least she did something worthwile). Hope Spike kicks her out, the skank.

Sorry if this sounds cruel, but good riddance! On the teaser for the chapter, I thought it was going to be HIM showing up at his door. Just hope her showing up doesn't interfere with the Spuffy datage.

Oh angst..
I feared Ethan was at the door at Spike's. Glad it wasn't him. But the visitor and what she did were very surprising. Oh my oh my.... I think this was in the past and in England, so no calling the cops right now? Till then!

Good, that bastard Ethan is dead! Perhaps that will help Spike overcome his problems with the past. It figures that just as his life was starting to get better his past would show up. At least it's only his mother, but I'm guessing it's gonna cause problems with Buffy, especially if he doesn't want to explain his past to her. It was all going too well, should have seen the badness coming!
