I really love and am impressed by this story. It's one of my favorites. Since I hold a Bachelor's in Psychology and Law Enforcement, this storyline is right up my alley in terms of engaging my interest. It's intriguing, all the personality conflicts you've managed to work up in this, and the deep seated pain Spike feels... that hits me every time I read a new chapter. It's very real, and very emotional, and I want to thank you for writing this and giving me something to look forward to so often.
You're doing a wonderful job, telling a very heartbreaking tale and yet still managing to fill it with hope and love and that rising feeling of togetherness.

Telling Spike to go to the session alone will take some convincing, Buffy knows him well. What she doesn't know is that he knows of her birthday. Wonder how well that will go.
But getting a new place together is a good idea, now that Spike will earn money again he can try. And Buffy would help to pay it. Should make him more secure of her running away when she is paying for it too.
