Well, the next time your muse wants this, can you please knock her unconscious with the nearest blunt object? 'Cause gotta tell ya that I have followed this story from the start & this is just...ARGH! So freakin' frustrating! I know Spike has a pair. He had them before he met Buffy although they were really hiding who he really was. He needs to find them again & remember that Buffy loves him. 'Cause frankly, any woman who has to continually convince the man she loves that she actually loves him is gonna say "Hasta!" And if he keeps pushing her away, eventually she's gonna give up and he will really be alone...and that's so not good for him,

Whew! Okay. I feel better now. Sorry about the rant. I really do love this story. It's just frustrating me a little right now. Take this as a sign that your writing was good enough to induce passionate...whatever...in this reader. Honestly, great writing and great chapter, although I hate Spike's attitude in this one.
