So the 'postman' (messenger) is involved in this. This Roger Chaplaine sure did his homework regarding Spike and Buffy too.

Starting now but finishing another time.
(OT: I copied the chapter to safe it. Can it be that you didn't close an italic tag? It looks different like it does on LJ. *wonders*)
Even the start showed that things won't be easy when it had Buffy and Spike fighting against a bunch of demons.
~ Mmmm even if Spike didn't get a chance to dance with Buffy he gets a chance to be with her on the 'new case'. And Buffy a chance to escape the birthday party. Win on both sides.
