I really, really, really liked this! Wish it had gone like this in the show. The beginning caught my attention right away and held it right until the end. Of course I'm hoping for a sequel, but don't force anything forward.

OMG, this, *sigh* this was really, really good. I enjoyed it to no end. Have I mentioned just how much I miss your writing? Well, I know I have but I'll say it again. I miss your writing, Sue. I hope you can do a sequal, even if it's only one chapter.

Here is Buffy's epiphany: Spike the vampire sees her, warts and all, but still he loves, sees beauty and good in her. To Buffy, these warts were exactly that, she felt ugly and dark-hearted, capable of cruelty and deceit. In Off Course, you have the shadow lifting from her eyes as she sees him, truly and instead of running, as usual, she settles in with her new thoughts, becomes comfortable with them, and shares her new-found affection and appreciation of him, with him.

This is undoubtedly a much better ending than in canon.

This was so beautiful and so the way things should have been (would have been if Joss wasn't a sick-sick little man! lol)
