Once again, keeping me hooked on ML with another fabulous chapter.

I'm glad Spike finally came to the realization that smart girls are hot. DUH! What planet has he been on? Oh yeah, planet womanizer! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!! ( Wow, I've had too much caffine)

Parker is a douchebag, but everyone knows that. Love the direct quotage from Season 4... made me have a flashback and have a sudden urge to go watch it. Thank goddness Buffy handles herself so well in this. Silly Parker, you mess with Buffy and you get lit on fire!

I wonder what Buffy will think of Spike's little switch... And I'm still anxiously awaiting that overnight trip. Seems like there are rampant plot bunnies about to be unleashed!

Yes, he;s discovering more and mroe, little by little things about Buffy that only serve to make him want her more. Glad you enjoyed the S4 Parker talk - always hated him but the btvs lines came in very very useful in this situation - before I flambed the the room, hee hee. Loved Spike getting hot when Buffy showed her knowledge / her brains.
Ah Parker.... he really tried it but Buffy didn't want to. First I thought Spike only trying to read their body language wouldn't go well but it wasn't that. The fire Spike caused had me giggling. Good that he was able to go unnoticed, he would have to answer some questions if he stayed.
Even better that Buffy didn't know he was there, checking on her. :)
I so knew it when I started to read that, Spike exchanged the underwear in the suitcase *gg* Buffy won't be pleased.

Oh, Spike. You have really done yourself in now. Cute little stunt but Buffy will NOT be pleased. Restaurant scene was hilarious (love the usage of the Parker/Buffy dialogue), love their evolving comfort with each other, love Spike's inability to keep a lid on his libido. Can't wait for more, and any day of the week you post, I'll be reading as soon as I can!

So like a man to totally draw out the whole sickness thing (I know my hubby totally does this - and its really annoying sometimes). Loved her overhearing his private moment. Reread the hottub scene many times - its just so funny (specially the 'italian' misunderstanding and the part where she calls him a kid ; ) The wake up scene was classic, since I thought it revealed her ambivalence towards him.

I gotta agree with all the other reviewers the restuarant scene was hilarious... lol! And I loved Spike's musings about smart chicks, although I get the feeling that Buffy could read a phone book and Spike would probably get turned on. ;) Can't wait to see what happens when Buffy finds out Spike tampered with her suitcase.

Seriously, I love this story so much! Spike is so much fun in this. Buffy, too. Their thought processes borders on comical at times while the subject of their speaking words is quite different, and you manage to segway both with enough subtext and tension to really draw the readers in. I love that!

I so can't wait for their trip! I have a feeling it's going to be great!
