This is just brilliant. Who cares whether Spike is politically correct or not. He's Spike, she's Buffy and you're a genius with words (and what a lot of words there are)! I love long chapters but somehow it's still never enough. Cannot wait for next week.

Buffy is definitely having a hard time of it, both with Spike and fighting her attraction to him, but she'll get some of her own back.... eventually, *winks*. ANd yes, especially when it comes to the 24/7 time period - 2 more chapters for that to see fruition. The banner is gorgeous isn't it? I love Spike in a suit, drools. As for Willy, no one ever really uses him as a good guy so I thought why not get him in here and give him some proper screen time. The entire business with Buffy's broken heel was laugh out loud funny, and I love that her myriad of complaints has just prompted Spike to move her into his office. There's no escaping him now.

Poor Buffy, she can't catch a break. She's softening toward Spike despite herself, and it's a lot of fun to read. Poor Spike, too. He pushes Buffy's buttons even when he's trying to be generous. The expensive pen, rather than making Buffy all warm and gooey, made her seethe with anger. Maybe once she's gotten a couple commission checks, she'll feel a bit more kindly. Yeah, right!
