Um may I ask what show you were watching Oooooo.? LMAO. Stories where Spike is acting like an ass is a lot more true to character than one's where he's a perfect saint. It's not Spuffy if they're not snarking at each other and have loads of sexual tension. Try Buffy/Angel if you prefer to read about protagonists that are damp as a wet towel together.

Keep doing what you're doing Im_bloody_English. You're always gonna find a few readers who aren't happy until Spike is completely neutered and housebroken but I think the majority of us have enough braincells to realize you don't really condone his behavior but you HAD to create those scruples in the character for the purposes of the story.

I'm loving this fic already. I can see the simlarities to ITAN which if you don't remember from my many reviews I was completely addicted to lol. I bet this will turn out to be just as an enjoyable and fun read. AND I LOVE THE GRAPHIC SMUT don't you dare deprive us perverts of every dirty little smutty detail of their sexcapades. *sob*

Author's Response: Okay - I was snorting here I was laughing so damn hard... 'damp as a wet towel together'. But you have a point, I mean seriously, that was their relationship. At first I adored B/A, but after he left and the freshness of SPike came aboard, I was glad the sappy crap ended. I don't mind fluff, but it was getting a bit sticky sweet then bitter sweet with Angel. I think Spike did more for Buffy, went above and beyond to prove himself worthy, kept his bad ass persona to a degree and all without a soul too. Angel's excuse is he had a soul - and without it, well, you get the point. I promise to keep plugging along here with my plans, you can count on that. I don't mind me some William every now and then, but there's something about a bad boy that's irresistable - no way am I cutting his balls off, nuh-uh. And you're absolutely correct, I had to create his character as such to get the fic moving within the plot, otherwise its boy meets girl, boy falls for girl, boy and girl wind up in bed then marry and have 2.5 kids in the suburbs.... b-o-r-i-n-g, been there done that, that's WHY I write what I write. And YAY, glad you're enjoying ML with all it's 'oh no he didn'ts' and that's illegal, cuz hey, its all in the name of comedy, I don't do drama, it drags me down in the emotional dept. THere's some similarities to ITAN for sure - both s/b have strong personalities which actually makes it work rather well. 2 passionate people come together, clash and walaa.... spuffy in the end with some fun fireworks in the process. As for the sex, when I get to it, I don't think I could stop my muse from writing it if I tried - he's a very naughty boy and likes his details, every nook cranny and juicy crevice.... ooops, did I say that? LOL. So no depriving anybody of anything sweety, you have my word. Thanks for the review, I loved it. Kisses.

I can't wait to see how working together with clients successfully impacts Spike & Buffy's relationship. I know back in my advertising days, I could feel quite fond co-workers I loathed, in the afterglow of a meeting where we totally rocked the house.

I think your point about the sexual harassment is well taken; this is a fantasy, and it makes total sense their their wouldn't be real life consequences for Spike's actions. I mean, if I wanted realism, I'd hardly be in the habit of getting hooked on shows about vampires. ;-)

Author's Response: Hahahahaha, i can imagine that too - the afterglow and all. It's safe to say that w/ Buffy and Spike, it goes smoother than they expect it to. Cuz honestly - I'm not sure how it goes in RL when two agents go together on a meeting, I've only heard one end of it on a couple of occassions. It didn't sound pleasant, but not great either so I'm going to keep their meetings in the story more of a daily grind type of thing than to delve into it what goes on during one (I'd definitely muck it up) LMAO at your comment about watching vampire shows. Yeah, this is fiction thank GOD!!! S.H. is no joke but it's not getting any 'real' drama or a spotlight out of me in this story... moving along b/c Buffy can handle herself, yup. And you're welcome for the shout out b/c hey... like i said, what you told me really 'clicked' and got the 's' out of my scared issue, thank you darling. I couldn't help myself, I had to say a couple of things, since it seems that someone around here thinks reviews are the place where people are supposed to rant about any- and every-thing that is wrong with society!

One of the reviewers - who for some reason chose to leave neither a name nor an e-mail (I wonder why, s/he seemed so opinionated, one would think s/he'd want to be given the opportunity to further discuss her thoughts!) - has freaked me out... So I'm gonna rant about it!

First off, authors do not write on request... unless they pick up a challenge or are asked nicely and agree to do so. This is your
story, you have the right to do with it whatever you think is best.

Secondly, your previous record with SR shows that if nothing else you can be trusted to wrap things up beautifully, even when the rest of us common folk do not see a way for that to be done.

Third, your place here is not to suggest stories. You are not google, for crying out loud! And to tell you the truth, I've had enough of Buffy being a bitch in Season 6 to not want much more of it (but again I, or any of your readers, can choose to continue with this story or give up on it, but cannot tell you how to write it!!!

Fourth, the person in question says they don't see why you put so much sex in your stories, and I just have to ask why, oh why, they chose to read an NC-17 story that clearly indicates the warning of 'sexual situations'??? Furthermore, they seem to be familiar with your work in the past, so are the masochists? If they do not like this sort of thing, why click on another of your stories???

Finally, I have to underline the hilarity of complaining about abundance of sex in a story where a) we haven't read any sex yet (except in Spike's mind... or are we to believe that men do not think about sex and it is your twisted mind that wants us to think so?) and b) says in the summary 'tons of UST' which means no sex for some time!
