Loving this story so far.
Particularly this chapter in which they've acknowledged mutual attraction but are trying to avoid giving in to temptation.
A fabulous representation of the Spike/Buffy relationship and all of that delcious UST.
Can't wait for more.

Absolutely loved it but I just don't see them being able to pull platonic friendship off but I am very willing to see them try!!

What a wonderful story! I just read it all in one sitting (and kicking myself for not doing it before now), I just love the dynamics in the relationship between Spike and Buffy, all the nuances and twists you're taking us in. It's truly a very novel idea and I'm enjoying it enormously. I'll be looking forward to more of it.

Oh, the Lord isn't going to help you now honey. :) Loved the chapter, glad Spike and his ego finally matured a bit and understood what Buffy was trying to tell him about the possible ramifications of the hot sex, but I'm glad he'd rather be friends with her than nothing at all. Platonic friendship...I give it two chapters. Maybe. Can't wait for more!

Now that my houseguests are all gone, I can catch up on reading and reviewing. I LOVE that that finally had 'the talk' - that was sooooooo needed. Liked this particular set of lines: “You made it look so effortless. Like it really didn't bother you one way or the other.”... Smiling, he tucked his tongue behind his teeth in a way that made her want to taste it. “And it drove you crazy, didn't it?” I could practically 'see' him saying that. Oh and of course, this is my fav: The thought of trying to keep herself aloof from him for the rest of the year did sound pretty awful, not to mention practically impossible. And at least this time would allow them to get to know each other.... “All right. You win,” she conceded. “Platonic friendship it is.” Lord, save us from our own lust bunnies! Giggles, something tels me this isn't going to be as easy as it sounds and things may take a heated turn here and there - a year is a long time, too long for either of them. But what I enjoyed the most is Spike's understanding and willingness to wait, YAY. Lovely chapter darling - can't wait for the next one.

Whatever Buffy is about to do it seems to be very important for her because she had to do some work to get his address...
Buffy has indeed all planned out. We'll see how it goes, her plan :)
But she's right about the danger for their careers.

I'm really enjoying this fic...It's especially nice that it's a plot I haven't seen as of yet. Usually Spike is the hot teacher (which I admit I love as well), so reading Buffy as his supervisor is a yummy treat.

Oh YAY! I just got back from vacation and decided to take some time to catch up on my stories and WooHoo....so glad that Spike finally made Buffy admit her feelings for him! Still loving this story!

I'm glad Spike confronted Buffy and asked her about her behavior. That doesn't mean that things will get easier now, Buffy has already second thoughts of being found out :)

Now she knows he isn't going to give up.. and he that she is just a little "turned on" by him..

So what about she as his major professor and a little thing of what could be considered.. improper behavior with your grad student..and his degree program.. Not that it hasn't been done many times before... LOL
