HAHAHHAAHAAHHA, seems though Buffy secretly expected Spike to fight back, he surprisingly didn't. Willow hit the nail on the head in this.... “That he'd corner you in your office and kiss the hell out of you, and then you could blame it on him because, after all, you did tell him to back off. Thereby avoiding all responsibility for the fact that you would have kissed him back – and then some.”
 - that is sooooooo Buffy it's ridiculous - well done sweety. ANd hmmmmmmmmmmm, wonder what she has planned for him now that she thinks she's being played. Update soon sweets - luvin it. Hugs.

Loved the update... dim sum does do wonders for the brain :) Willow is the bestest friend ever -- everyone needs someone to bring you food and drinky drinky when you're overworked and a little lost. I can't wait to see what Buffy has planned and hoping that it's enough to light some sparkage. At the same time, I hope she's gentle on Spike since he's obviously miserable, too.

Looking forward to the next chapter.

I agree with Pam. Buffy tells Spike that she wants their relationship to be professional. Now she is upset that he won't make a move and thinks he is playing games. So now Buffy is going to play games with him. Poor Spike.

I have a feeling that if anybody is going to make a fool of themselves it is going to be Buffy for playing games.

Well, my psych skills might be bad.. but I think Willow might have misinterpreted Spike.. Buffy wanted professonial and that is what he is doing.. for the sake of his degree. And now Buffy is going to play games..

Loved the chapter sweety and so glad you updated. WOW does Buffy have tremendous will power - I mean she dresses down and get's all professional so she can resist SPike. But of course she can't lie to herself either. Makes me wish Spike would just make a move, but he's so respectful here. Erghhhh, frusrating - bring on the luvin, giggles.

AWW THATS SO SAD, SHE SHOULDNT HAVE STOPPED THEIR BONDING!! i LOVE this story and am so happy that u updated. it sucks that she had to make theyre relationship so formal and that now they cant even be friendly with one another. i really hope that this stops and they get close again. also i hope that everything works out well and they end up together and happy. Great job with this chapter again:) Reasonable Buffy was a lot of fun to read. Let's see how long her resolve will hold up since we all know Spike's charme can be irresistable..

Damn Faith. And they were so ready to make a connection, too. But I suppose it would be a tad soon and poor Spike, I think he's just as attracted but trying to fight it behind the curtain of professionalism. It's good to see though he isn't just jumping right on it. And noooooooooooooo, no updates anytime soon? I don't think I can handle that.
