And wow, yeah, definitely unusual circumstances.
Spike might be able to keep her alive and safe indefinitely, but there's not much he can do now about the investigation. Can he trust the DA? Otherwise....

To your story: *phew* That was quick that they were found out. There has to be a traitor. If not Gunn then somebody he was trusting who did it.
Glad though they went away; hopefully nobody will track them down (because Spike had to use the ATM.

I'm completely caught up in the story. This is so well written , and you handle things between William and a younger Buffy with such a delicate and thoughtful way. I trust you to make their relationship believable and interesting . You did a marvelous work with 'Baby love ' , and I have no doubt that you're going to be as successful here.
I like how he 's feeling so attracted to her while it's forbidden and how she trusts him to take care of her.

Poor Buffy, now Spike told her that she got raped. She reacted as if she didn't know about that.

There's no easy way to tell someone that. You're gonna feel like a jerk no matter what. Poor girl. Any compassionate soul would rather she not have certain memories if it could be helped.

Like the touch of the pretty bathroom. Not an important detail, but just nice.

Liked the way this story is going Spike a detective perfect for him and Buffy a victim I can buy that too. Now we readers of your very well written tales are left in vertigo. Buffy's character has no background even a smidgen jus a fifteen year old runaway from where? Now please give us an update soon so Spike and the runaway can get together and solve the murder of Reilly(Angelus). Cool

Nikki Woods, huh? Didn't expect her to be the helper Spike was calling.
At last Spike managed to get her out; being away from prying eyes must be good.
