Glad Angel called; Buffy was quick to answer that she would come when she knew it was about Spike.

That answered the question, Spike wants to die (go down as a hero). Silly one... he should have called Buffy. But then she would have known the dead hero is alive.

*nods* Illyria is right (or better Wesley was right) about being loved. I hope Illyria will be happy being Fred again.
So some abilities are still there (Spike knowing where Angel is).
But Spike is rather working on to get killed *wonders if he wants to get killed or be a vampire again*

I wanted to read this story at EF and added it to favorites but didn't come around to do it. Well I can read here now :)
Thought so... Angel wanted to Shanshu more than Spike. Well indeed, you don't always get what you want.
Spike getting in fights and get beaten? That sounds as if he has only human powers.
Good start with the first chapter. (And if you update at EF + SR the same way I'll still get my notice of a new chapter) ;-)

I just wanted to let you know how much I'm enjoying reading you're story and I can't wait for more chapters. Is gonna go out on a limb and guess that it was Andrew that answered the phone? Just seemed like the natural guess to me. Since I never got to watch many of the Angel episodes, and have only read about parts of them and stuff like that in the Spuffy stories that I read. But I just wanted for you to know that I'm totally caught up in this story and can't wait for new chapters. Thank you so much for writting it. :)
