So the wife is missing?? Why do I feel like she won't be for very long now that Buffy's in Spike's life? By the way, does that mean Spike's in his 30s? Anyways, I'd love to see where this is heading. Can't wait for more!!!

I just started reading this, and your summary is just so short and intriguing. I *have* to see this.

And oh, for the record... addressing your author's note on chapter 1, I agree with you and prefer fics with a bit of angst (not terribly bad ones that can leave me with nightmares *LOL*) but as I see it, life is never smooth. People fight for what they want and that just makes the achievement at the end a sweeter one.

You've done a terribly................................ GREAT job so far. :D Love it!

Fab. Loved the early kissing - they met, felt an atrraction, thought they'd never see each other again, and then *bam* totally believeable reaction. Good work.

Also love the fact that the wife's been out of the picture for so long. Means that if she does show up and stir up trouble he's got a reasonable chance of getting a divorce in case these two crazy kids decide to make it work.

Cracking. Can't wait for more.

When I first started reading this chap., I imagine it was years latter, and you were going to give some flashbacks.
I forgot about Giles. I like the scenes you wrote with Buffy and Giles.
Yes, awkward.
Though they seem to be finally with each other, I'm expecting a very bumpy road.

I certainly didn't see that coming. Strangely enough I pictured this as a series of vignettes - them running into each other at various times over the years and it never being the right time. Something like the Alan Alda movie Same Time Next Year. I'm not sure why but that movie seemed to come to mind after the first chapter. I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it. I'm even more intrigued since I obviously have no idea where this is going now. Your a tricky one.

Well, as soon as Giles mentioned the party, I knew it had to be Spike's.

You made me cry with their sentimental part in the beginning!

I think Spike should do something about legally ending that marriage. It's still technically squicky to hook up with another when you're still technically attached to someone.

Love the awkward reunion. Glad she does have Giles in her life, too. And that she's run back into Spike. Surely more fun to be had. And I'd imagine if they continue having fun, we'll be seeing a bit of that wayward wife. Loving it. Always glad to see more.
