Was initially disappointed that 20 questions got cut off but you more than made up for it with the introduction of nice-but-slutty Faith. More of her, please!
Am glad that everyone's being so nice to Buffy. Hope that stays with her when she has to face all the people in the wedding party.

This one is fun too read. :)
I guessed Anya was Xander's girlfriend but Faith is even better here. She and Buffy went along from the start. It can't hurt Buffy to find new friends (that get her to loosen up a bit - in the sense of doing what she wants and not her parents - ).
Then you haven't been spending time with the right people. Yeah, that could indeed be the case.
Looking forward to more, sooner or later.

Ah.. back in the game.. and I mean me :). Beautiful story I have to say. First.. I like your Faith.. and that shes together with Xander. I think they fit together. And Spike is so kind to Buffy... she really needs someone like him right now. But I'm curios how long she will be hiding away. And how much she will drink :) ... I don't think so that she will have to pay for anything :).
Oh.. and please please please.. the next time Angel is crying... write it so that you can 'see' it :)... that would be so funny. And Harmony.. please... shes so ... hmmm... blond?? I think thats the best to describe her.. I hope she will tag along with Angel and make his life a living hell :).

The first paragraph painted a vivid physical and emotional picture. Buffy's running away from her life with a complete stranger, but you're making her placement of trust believable.
Playing Twenty Questions is a good plot device to get a lot of character back story introduced, and their conversation is entertaining and charming. They're already clicking on a friendship level, and I'm looking forward to learning more about each of them. The image of Buffy in her wedding gown, struggling to mount the barstool gave me a grin.
This was another tight, vivid chapter.
Author's Response: Thanks so much, Brunettepet. I'm glad I was able to convey the conflicted and confusing emotions Buffy is feeling, and make her decision to trust Spike believable. And I'm so glad the plot device of 20 questions is doing exactly what I want it to: deepen the relationship between the characters on a friendship level first, and bring up a lot of backstory. So so glad you enjoyed the chapter!
