Oh you already have the new chapter up :))
Spike showed a side of himself that Buffy didn't expect (his 'William' side). I hope that will change her opinion of him.
Oh Spike knows his way around in the household. Definitely a keeper :-D
~ You know the part Spike didn't define himself as being a vampire. etc. would have made a good pleading (address by counsel) why Spike is the best vampire. (I didn't save the link, it was a contest for a vampire book, over at LJ.) Ah.. found it via Google again. Maybe you should post :) Your words aren't mine, I can't borrow them. ~
Loved to see Spike having fun fighting demons :))
And later with Buffy, kissing. Reminded her of old times, I'm sure :)

Ahhh, this is updated already!! I'm so happy! This chapter was fantastic, and how you handled drunk Spike and Buffy's unwilling attraction was perfect. And I loved the idea that Spike would go to get completely drunk and challenge "all comers" at a demon bar after racing off on a stolen motorcycle! Wonderful!

Author's Response: Thank you!! I'm so glad you liked it! I thought that would be what Spike would really do, instead of going tamely back to Xander's basement as canon had it.

Aww I love it! Spike's so sweet with Joyce, I love how he's showing (Buffy) his cultured side, it's always so stupid how Buffy is so surprised to see it, like someone of a 120 years old wouldn't know anything about culture or whatever, tss :P
Anyway, can't wait for the next chapter!

Love the start :) Reading the secret thoughts of both of them too, the secret attraction that they both don't like; Buffy talking to him when she was worried.
And she was right, he did listen.
Good for Buffy to see Willow's problems, now that Willow is just at the begin of playing with magic.
Seems as if Spike will move now :))
