Loved it except why Wes instead of Tara? I love Tara. Loved the rest and can't wait for more.

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it. The Willow with Wes thing was because I've always wanted to put the RL couple together in one of my fics and I chose this one to do it. Also, Tara was a sweet girl, but I thought Tara and Willow together was a bit boring. I put Willow with Faith in one of my other stories. :) I guess Willow is my floater girl. She bounces from person to person depending on my mood as I write my fics.

Watching the sunrise together, again, was very sweet and romantic. It's like they've come full circle since the spell. Now they're really in love, mirroring the fake emotions of the spell.

I enjoyed Joyce immediately being suspicious of Spike and Buffy having her over. Of course they were softening her up for quite a blow. She took everything in stride, though. I wonder what her reaction to Clem will be, though.

Author's Response: Thank you. Some times poor Joyce can be clueless when it comes to Buffy, but she's not totally stupid. :) Every mother knows when she'd being buttered up. I'm glad you liked the revisit to the sunset.

Awe :)) Loved the spuffyness. It's good to see Buffy and Spike so happy now, especially with the baby to come. So good for Spike (who thought it impossible).
Good to see the talk with Joyce went well. I guess it wasn't only the good dinner, it was the becoming a grandma too. Nothing she could expect with a vampire SiL :)
Loved it.

Heh heh Spike noticed that Angel thought he had the ring, that he couldn't kill him. Saved him indeed.
And right, I guess too that Spike would have cared to have his soul fix so he wouldn't loose it.
YAY for Spike believing Buffy now.
Looking forward to more :) Seems Spike loves the thought to become a dad.

Spike just playing mood ring off was hysterical, and I love that it forced Angel into hearing the whole story. You made this work beautifully. Angel being drawn into the entire reveal, having to be witness to both Buffy professing her love and telling Spike he's going to be a daddy was stellar.

This chapter has put a big grin on my face, especially this funny, in voice line: “I'm not dreaming, right? I'm still very drunk, so if this is some strange hallucination...” Spike's been drinking for hours, it's no wonder he's a bit concerned.

I enjoyed the standoff and Buffy showing that no matter what, she couldn't stake Spike was actually a positive thing. Maybe when she explains about Giles and Xander's misperception, her inability to kill Spike will help him believe her.

I loved Xander and Clem bonding over television. It would drive Spike crazy if Xander was buddies with his roomie.

Oh, Spike, bonding with Angel over loving the slayer could be a really stupid move. Well, off to see if they're brawling or bonding in the next chapter.
