Good luck for getting your muse on your other stories back! I've heard that this did function in other cases.
Looking forward to Buffy's journey. Like you said once: We can't choose our family members, Buffy
It doesn't sound like a bad home Buffy had (not being beaten or so) but not like a good one either. So hopefully the journey will be good for her.
