That was fun and kinda romantic - i liked the idea that Buffy had to learn to be willing to sacrifice her happiness this time around. The process of discovering their claim and their feelings was very sexy and heartfelt.

Good that Regan knows more then Giles regarding vampires and slayers.
Xander is very much against Buffy being with Spike. Not good that it lead to Giles calling Angel about it. I guess Angel is already on his way to Sunnydale.
Good the spell didn't work; Buffy has earned some happiness.) Awe :) And now the claim really works thanks to their confession. ♥ it.
Sad that's already the end. Enjoyed the read :)

Author's Response: Wow, thank you! Angel bashing is really tempting. :D I think there is room for a sequel and so many people are asking for one that I will work on it. Trouble is, it will have to wait until I finish my present WIP, which is a longish one with dimensional jumps and a 'Harsh Light of Day' Spike that I'm having fun with. The First probably won't come in this timeline, now, though. And Buffy already knows how to get rid of Glory right away. She already knows a ton of ways to prevent deaths that happened the first time, so if anything happened to Spike, it'd be something completely new. She needs to realize how much has changed and will change because of her knowledge.
