Billy is a big burst of angry energy, isn't he? Just like his daddy. Wonder what Spike did that was so bad that his kid hates him. But it seems that Billy likes Buffy. Hopefully she can help father and son get back on track.

I am linking this new story but hoping that spike doesn't have anything to do with the child abuse. I am totally guessing here but I think I see where this is going and he is not the abuser, anyway cant wait for more :)

Ok, I just realized that you have a warning for child abuse. I can read a story that involves child abuse. But what I meant down below is that I can't read a story where either Spike or Buffy abuse a child. So, if there is child abuse but not from Spike or buffy. Then I don't mind reading it. But if one of them is the child abuser. I will have to pass on this. Not does child abuse make me ill. I wouldn't want to see Buffy or Spike with a child abuser.

I'm interested so far.

But if Spike is a child abuser then I don't want to read it. That is way over the top for me. Not only that I think it would out of character for Spike even AU story. But reading about child abuse is not something I can read. My father was abusive. so, if that is the way the story is going to go then please let me know.

I'm also looking at the title of this story. You called it LIes. So, maybe Billy is someone who often lies. I mean he lied about his both his parents being dead. So I would much rather read about a boy who lies then read child abuse.

Great first chapter though

Hmm, okay, I think I wouldn't mind taking a crack at this one if you wanted to send me the chapters. I'm just a bit worried about your warning of child abuse, and really hoping that Spike isn't abusive to his son. He does seem kind of mean, and I do wonder why the boy would lie, but I'm interested to see where you would go with this=)

Well, I am very interested but also confused. A problem with reading in a fandom is the expectations about what a story will be, but that 'things are not always what they seem' in the summary has me all ready to look for clues and make guesses and read on!
I love Buffy owning a cat, or being owned by a cat, named Princess Leia and that Andrew is a cousin. Looking forward to reading more!
