Gifted as in hearing better like Buffy does, huh? And that (power -> enhanced form) is why the Council doesn't recognize her as Slayer (belonging to the S.Line).
Connected also; mmmh that's nothing what the Council likes to hear.
Well I would have loved to be in the room to hear what Travis would have told Randall.
HAH he is wrong. I rather believe Giles and the Scoobies, I think they know better.
Buffy must have found something good for exchanging when Travis didn't notice the change yet.

Oh my, did the Council something to Buffy? Did the doctor have an explanation for the count being so low. + The Slayer blood in her might be fighting against the foreign material
Good idea to take the folder; she needs to know (even if it will be missed).

Don't worry about spoiling me for BD, I've read some reviews and critics ;) But having bought the first three I'll probably simply buy BD anyway. If I don't like it I'll just ignore later that I ever read it. ;)
Whatever it is: it seems that turning the slayer is important for the prophecy (or an important part of it). Especially because Travers didn't want it.
But maybe it isn't the kind of turning Spike is used to. More questions indeed because of Spike's changing because of the Pure.
Neat :) Buffy already has enhance hearing.
And a sad thought that this we were taught that the reason we do this is to help the Slayer, to help save the world has been lost.
More soon? :)

Wow, you're already read it? It isn't out that long. I'm waiting for the paperback.
So Dawn feared like me that the Pure Vampire could take Spike away *still hopes not*. Ah yes, Akoshta. Forgot about that.
Ah...Michelle was eavesdropping. I hope that is a good thing. (If they are being watch too maybe not).
Blood sample... I worry too much. But with all the spell caster that work at the Council I wouldn't have given it so freely.

Author's Response: I found the only store in town that had copies left and didn't stop reading till I was done. It's really great but I won't spoil it for you. Lots of little hints about upcomming twists were in this chapter. Akoshta is still a factor, the kids are as well, and lets just say the blood is going to fit in too. It's gonna be a damn mess for someone.

If I was correct the dream Spike is having is even more important than everybody thought.
Spike's purring was very loud indeed if Buffy thought it was an earthquake ;)
I hope things will go well for Spike; it's a bit worrisome (I hope the pure vampire won't be able to influence him - his demon - against his own will.)
