Rollicking! I believe that's one of the few things I haven't said about this story. And that unbelievable tension with the necklace! Squee...Nice. I loved that he just decided to be rude about it because the alternative was wigging him out. And their little domestic scene is "precious" even if spike was exerting enough effort to be mean to the baby trying to make up for saving her. So much fun this chap...

Looks like great minds think alike. ;-) I really enjoyed reading Spike and Buffy's inner thoughts as Spike fumbled with Buffy's clasp. I also liked how Spike tried to cover for his Williamish behavior... lol! Good update!

I am really enjoying the pace of this story. The baby adds another difficulty, making things more interesting. I like the angst from Buffy here- and look forward to further Spuffy developments.

The anticipation of that kiss was overwhelming...I kept hoping and praying....and they had no idea their thoughts were on the same thing! Hope still springs alive for our own Spike with all she's learning about past Spike. They're both more "Williamish" than you thought Buffy. Let's just hope she gets back soon so she can tell him.

Aurora's situation is so sad, it's such shame Joy did what she did. :( On the upside I loved that Spike followed his heart and rescued the baby. I look forward to reading more! Fantastic chapter.

Oh my... poor Joy. I'm not sure she was thinking right, she must be out of her mind because of grief. The way she is now she'll be most likely be dead, sooner or later, trying to fight.
So they'll have to save a baby now.

Looks like Spike's heart is in a bit of a tug of war and he doesn't even realize it yet... although risking Dru to fly Buffy back to England is a pretty big gesture. Loved the chapter!

hahaha the last line was so funny...and sweeet. I love this period piece, it's very breezy...and I love how spike can not NOT love buffy no matter what century he's in...sulking spike is of the funny.
