*nod* The site is slow sometimes and won't behave, opening chapters. I guess it's the same with uploading stories. Normally it goes away again. And there's always the other archives and LJ to read :)
Seems this council is better in selecting pairs to work together. The Council back then where Buffy comes from never did this, only selecting vamps to kill slayers.
Retired slayer? Indeed, even if this world has more demons, it's better for slayers to live in this world.
Ah and Spike will love Buffy for the cigarettes she bought him. *gg*
Uh-huh... the noise couldn't mean a good thing. So Kali is gone? But she's their ticket home.

Oh! Very clever, so the gem is a failsafe device. Brought Buffy (and Spike with her) to the wrong place now. Roman maybe thought Buffy is together with Spike too, being used to it (vampire consort).
