I am so enjoying this story. Your portrayals the of characters are so sensitive, and I love that your wrote the foundation of their relationship as a friendship. Also like how Buffy saves him, as she always did for everyone in the series.

Great chapter! Glad to see Buffy and Spike's relationship slowly mending. I'm hoping they'll admit their feelings for one another and by having Buffy redecorate Giles's house it will end up feeling like their home. That is if Spike can overcome his alcohol abuse and Buffy decides to set shop in Sunnydale.

Oh seems Buffy has found something to help Spike with the money. The work she did will be helpful.
Hopefully Buffy can explain, Spike is thinking the worst.

Love the story so far. Please don't abandon. There are so many stories... I get emotionally invested and then... nothing... It feels to me like the characters get stuck eternally in whatever unhappily ever after the author left them in... too sad...

It's natural to ask if someone is okay and yet not fitting in Spike's case; it's just hard for him.
Oh my, Spike has definitely a problem with alcohol if you count all the bottles.

Wow...really sad two chapters. Poor Spike I just wanna hug him. I'm glad Buffy realizes how wrong she was to stay away and not keep in touch, Spike is angry but loves her and wants to be with her. aww

I like that you're going slow with their relationship...they have a lot of hurt to get past and really need to talk.

I'm so happy you haven't given up on this story. Any chance you'll pick up "What Goes Around Comes Around'? love that story too, and I haven't forgotten it. :)

Author's Response: Thanks for your review, hun, you're really sweet. As far as WGACA goes, I'm trying really hard to find my muse for that one. it's really not cooperating. I had a new chapter about half way done when I realized i really hated it (I was kind of forcing it) and I scrapped it in favor of starting fresh. We'll see... I may surprise myself :) Thanks again for your review, I look forward to hearing from you again :)
